Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Required
- 2 years Nursing experience Required
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
Nice To Haves
- Oncology experience Preferred
- OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Preferred
Responsibilities
- The Oncology Navigator is responsible for managing the care of identified patients with cancer, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to ensure access to high quality care throughout the continuum.
- Serves as a single point of contact for cancer patients, caregivers, and referring physicians, and provides resources and assistance with accessing clinical and non-clinical supportive care services offered by Piedmont Healthcare and its community partners.
