About The Position

Join our palliative care team and make a meaningful difference by providing relief to adult patients experiencing the stress of serious illness. Our team works alongside patients at every stage of their journey—whether newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, recovering, or approaching end of life. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: Collaborate with a dedicated team of interprofessional colleagues who bring compassion, expertise, and teamwork to the care of patients with life-limiting illnesses. Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, offering guidance and support during some of life’s most challenging moments. Help manage pain and other complex symptoms related to cancer and serious illnesses. Support patients undergoing disease-directed treatments by focusing on quality of life through expert symptom management and holistic care—addressing emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. Use advanced assessment skills to evaluate patient needs through in-person visits, telephone triage, and online patient portals. Participate in ongoing education and professional development within the specialized field of palliative care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of school of nursing Required
  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  • Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
  • Ambulatory experience Preferred
  • Relevant oncology experience Preferred
  • Chemotherapy experience Preferred
  • Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred
  • Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
