About The Position
Our Hospice Nursing positions include meeting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of our clients and their families. Our patients are facing end-of-life healthcare needs, and we are seeing an LPN who can provide the needed nursing care with dignity, compassion & a warm heart. Availability: Weekends On-Call starting Friday at 5pm ending Monday at 8am. Requirements
- Kansas or compact nursing license
- Valid Driver's License
- Monitor and record patient's condition and document provided care services via electronic charting.
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Positive, Professional attitude
Responsibilities
- Meeting the healthcare needs of hospice patients by completing as needed and routine visits
- Working closely with the Hospice team, physicians and community partners in order to deliver optimal care.
- Triaging any emergent needs and collaborating with physicians to provide comfort and quality care to each patient.
- Communicating with medical professionals, the hospice team and others
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records
- Providing services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice.
- Participating in in-service programs
- Demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills
