Descripti on : As a Registered Nurse On Call (RNOC) , y our role would be to create, plan and direct the hospice care team utilizing nursing processes of assessment, interventi on s, implementati on and evaluati on . You will effectively interact with all members of the Interdisciplinary Team as well as with your patients and their loved on es while maintaining the highest standards of care and professi on al nursing clinical competency. Descripti on : An On - Call RN provides holistic nursing care to terminally ill patients and their families after normal business hours. Provides appropriate support for families at time of death. Nursing care is based on the nursing process, c on sisting of patient assessments, diagnosis of key problems, patient educati on and evaluati on of patient outcomes.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse
Ability to work a 7 day on & 7 day off rotati on
Excellent clinical assessment skills
Performs admissi on evaluati on s and pr on ouncements
Ability to provide patient educati on and evaluate patient outcomes
Time management skills
C on ducts follow-up visits
Advanced knowledge of pain management & symptom c on trol

Nice To Haves

Hospice case management
Critical Care, Surgery or On cology experience
The ideal candidate would reside in or around the Kennesaw area.
