About The Position

MultiCare is seeking an experienced ED RN to join their Off Campus Emergency Department (OCED) team. This role offers an opportunity to apply specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care through a multidisciplinary approach. These facilities are staffed by experienced physicians, nurses, and clinical teams, delivering efficient, compassionate emergency care in convenient community locations to ensure patients receive comprehensive, high-quality support where they live, work, and play.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency nursing experience is required.
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS, PALS NRP required within 90 days of hire
  • Two (2) years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
  • Certification in specialty area preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
  • Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
