About The Position
This is a full time position and will be providing Occupational Health services such as health, safety, and wellness programs to prevent, treat injuries, and other hazards within an industry environment located in the Roanoke Valley area. The Occupational Health Nurse is assigned to client sites to deliver health and safety programming to employees for the purpose of promoting and restoring health as well as preventing illness and injury. The Occupational Health Nurse must have or develop a combined knowledge of Occupational Health principles and client business operations in order to effectively identify environmental hazards, promote a safe and healthful work environment, support cost effective operations, and reduce disability claims and Workers' Compensation injuries.
