About The Position

The Application Analyst will serve as the liaison between the Facilities department and the IT department in order to provide process solutions to meet the organization's needs.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
  • A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered.
  • A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to understand and resolve technical issues and provide resolutions to issues.
  • Must be able to form independent ideas to improve processes and work flows.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in application evaluation, development, configuration, upgrades and maintenance.
  • Work closely with staff to understand the business requirements need for functional specifications used for the software application.
  • Interact with business process owners to advocate solutions for business problems, where appropriate, and to communicate how IT systems can meet business needs.
  • Work closely with management to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule and completed.
  • Develop and provide reports for management and staff.
  • Provide end-user training classes as needed to department staff.
  • Write end-user software documentation, testing guides, user guides and jobs aides using best practices.
  • May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
