Learn more about us at www.lchcs.com Qualifications: Must be a RN with preferably five years of clinical nursing experience. Job duties include but are not limited to: Coordinates, schedules and documents efforts to secure services due for patients with different insurances. Uses EHR to communicate labs, well care exams, eye exams, foot exams, mammograms, pap smears, colonoscopies, etc. that are due. Develops an organized system to track coordination of care. Participates in educational opportunities to gain knowledge of care coordination activities. Assist in developing policies and procedures as necessary or the nursing department along with other nursing supervisor(s). Work continually to ensure quality nursing care to all patients. Create and maintain a positive work environment for patients, family and staff. Provide direct patient care including but not limited to performing labs, working up patients with documentation in electronic medical record. Provide direction that will ensure the development and productive performance of all nursing personnel. Maintain good public relations in the community. Continually work toward enhancing the image of nursing. Establish and provide programs of continuing education and assistance for all nursing staff. Coordinate emergency code team in a timely and efficient manner. Supervise the nursing personnel in the site. Ensure that the location(s) assigned is fully staffed at all times by creating a weekly staffing schedule. Maintain patient flow through a team effort. Ensure that nursing personnel arrive to work at least 15 minutes prior to their assigned provider(s) first scheduled appointment. Maintain medical supply inventory including crash cart supplies. Orders and inventories VFC immunizations. Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Salary scales are a range of pay and offers are made to applicants based upon the requirements of the particular position. Applicants with “previous like skills” may not be given the same weight and consideration as “previous specific same skills”: i.e., For a Medical Receptionist position, “Previous clerical skills” may not be preferred over “Previous Medical Clerical Skills”
