About The Position

RN Nursing Supervisor 7:00 - 3:00 Shift Grandview Rehab is seeking an RN Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This role provides leadership for the nursing team and serves as a liaison between administration, nursing staff, residents, and families. Requirements

Current Connecticut RN License required.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Knowledge of nursing regulations, resident care standards, and documentation requirements.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or on-call.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and facility policies .
Monitor resident care plans and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
Participate in staffing decisions, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and mentor team members.
Respond to resident/family concerns and provide professional communication.
Assist in infection control, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
Conduct staff meetings, in-services, and training as needed.
Support administration during surveys, audits, and inspections.
