About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) William Penn Care Center 2020 Ader Rd Jeannette, Pa 15650 Now Accepting Applications for Full-Time and Part-Time Registered Nurses! $4,000 Sign-On Bonus (Paid out bi-weekly over your first year of employment) Wages starting at RN Cart Nurses $34/hr — based on experience RN Sups start at $40 an hour 12-hour shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a Shift Differentials & Incentives $3.00/hr – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift $2.00/hr – 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM shift $2.00/hr – Additional weekend hourly incentive Shift Pick-Up Bonuses Available! Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current PA Registered Nurse License in good standing
  • Compassionate and dedicated to resident-centered care
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be Graduate of an approved RN program.
  • Must have a minimum, one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
  • Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
  • Must possess a valid CPR certification
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills
  • Must meet all local health regulations and criminal background checks, post-offer drug trust, and post-off physical
  • Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements by the state
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and oversee quality nursing care to residents
  • Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families
  • Participate in continuing education and training
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Plan and implement individualized resident care plans
