About The Position

RN Baylor Nurse Supervisor Royal Oak Nursing Center, Dade City, Florida Full Time Sat, Sun & Mon 7am-7pm (Baylor Time and a Half Incentive Included) We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. The RN Supervisor provides supervision and support to our nursing staff, and skilled nursing care to our residents.

Requirements

• Clear and Active RN license with the State of Florida.
• Valid CPR certification
• Must pass a level II background screen
• Compassionate and respectful demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet physical and sensory requirements as stated in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise within the prescribed scope of practice for an RN in the State of Florida.
• Provide supervision and support to nursing staff.
• Prepare and present educational material and reports to nursing staff and department heads.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Review and update care plans for residents.
• Contact families, physicians and other providers as needed to report changes of condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, NP or PA.
• Administer specialized skilled services as prescribed by the physician or extender orders.
• Direct and supervise nurse assistants.
• Other duties as assigned in the job description.
