About The Position
Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time RN Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Johnson State Prison in Wrightsville, Georgia. The RN Nurse Supervisor (Medical) works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) to supervise nursing and support staff. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients with a wide range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or associate's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must have current AHA Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Corrections experience preferred
- Wound Care experience and current Wound Care Certification preferred
- Managing complex patient care (ie IV, PICC, TLC, Trach, Feeding tube) experience preferred
