The Nurse Manager is a growth-oriented leader who uses team process, coaching, and team strategy to drive change. This person has a responsibility to create and sustain an environment that recognizes each resident’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs beyond traditional nursing home procedures and protocols. The Nurse Manager will create and sustain small home clinical excellence, will support development of team functioning, and achieve and maintain operational efficiency in the neighborhood through team created process development and improvement, solid employee relations skills, and innovative strategy to meet changing expectations in long term care. This position will be called upon to find solutions to issues concerning the resident, family and facility which impact quality of life and well-being through team processes.
