RN Nurse Manager - Outpatient Clinics
About The Position
The Nurse Manager- Outpatient Clinics plans, develops, and implements all aspects of the Outpatient Clinics – Outpatient Clinic, Center for Wound Management (Wound Care and Hyperbaric), Pain Clinic, Specialty Clinic, Infusion Center, and Telehealth. Acts as a liaison between these areas, hospital departments, patients, physicians’ offices, MHS Affiliates, vendors, and other facilities. Monitors the components of these areas to ensure that the goals and objectives of the program are consistent with the overall strategic plan of PAH and MHS. Assists in the development and evaluation of the nursing personnel. Services as clinical resource person to the designated unit. Provides direction to the nursing staff in utilizing the nursing process and assuring continuity of care for patients of all age groups. Responsible for coordination of outreach activities that support these areas. Requirements
- BSN required
- Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in the State of Illinois
- Certified in CPR or completes certification during Nursing Team Onboarding
- Three years of current clinical experience
- Demonstrates leadership skill and ability
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend and kneel, reach above head, lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Prefer experience in Outpatient clinical specialty
