About The Position
The Nurse Educator plays a crucial role in the professional development and growth of nurses and other healthcare personnel. This position involves using consulting, mentoring, coaching, and interprofessional collaboration to facilitate the transition from novice to expert in nursing practice. The Nurse Educator functions as a change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, and champion of scientific inquiry, applying research and evidence-based practices to improve clinical outcomes. The role requires obtaining nursing administration or professional/specialty certification within 12 months of assuming the role or achieving eligibility to sit for the exam.
