About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Educator for a 14-week contract assignment in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong Med/Surg clinical background and demonstrated expertise in nursing education and staff development.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and hands-on patient care background
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Active New York State RN License
- Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
- Current AHA BLS (American Heart Association) certification
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical education and training to nursing staff
- Support onboarding and competency validation processes
- Develop and deliver educational programs aligned with clinical standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with leadership to support quality improvement initiatives
