About The Position

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Lake Pointe as a Registered Nurse in the Level 3 NICU, where you will provide high-quality care to neonates in a fast-paced environment. This full-time night position requires a minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience, including line management and respiratory management. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience.
• Current and valid nursing license.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with high acuity patients.
• Ability to cross-train to New Family Unit (Post-Partum/Well-Baby Nursery) & L&D.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neonates in the Level 3 NICU.
• Manage line management for UVC/UAC and respiratory care including Conventional Ventilation and High Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV).
• Monitor and care for micro preterm infants (23 weeks and up).
• Participate in shared governance and department committees.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
