About The Position

Full time position in the NICU department at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. Primarily night position; this position is also required to work every third weekend and every third holiday. Will be cross trained to care for postpartum moms and newborns, as well as care for patients in the Pediatric department. Required to become NRP certified in first six months; Mandatory Reporter, BLS and PALS also required. Providing care for newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including assessments, monitoring and administration of medication(s). Assigned to work every third weekend and holiday, this position is a rotating nights position that primarily will work 1800-0630. Will work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists and laboratory personnel to fulfill patient's plan of care. Must be willing to become certified in NRP and PALS. Requirements

  • Must be willing to become certified in NRP and PALS.
