Requirements

• Associate's of Nursing Required
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NPR) Required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit.
• Day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities.
• Supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing personnel.
• Utilizing nursing skills of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient care delivery.
• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans to ensure effective treatment.
• Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate.
• Serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly.
• Assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
