About The Position
Mercy Hospital Jefferson is dedicated to fostering the growth of nurses, understanding the significant investment they have made in their education and training. We are committed to investing in our nursing staff as they fulfill their calling in the healthcare field. Our hospital offers various units that are currently hiring Graduate Nurses (GN's), including the Acute Rehab, Transitional Care Unit (TCU), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Emergency Department (ED), Med/Surg - Medical A, Neuro - Medical B, and Surgical Unit. We also provide career path options for nurses looking to advance their careers in specialized areas such as the Women's & Children's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Float Pool. To support our nursing staff, we offer several new RN incentives, including a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on the unit, with no contract required. We also have an RN Loan Forgiveness Program that assists in paying off RN student loan debt, providing up to $370 per month towards loan payments, with a total cap of $20,000. Additionally, we offer an RN to BSN Bridging Program to help nurses obtain their BSN, with financial support of up to $16,000. Our benefits package includes shift differential pay, annual merit increases based on performance, tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 for continuing education, and health, dental, and vision insurance available from day one. We also contribute $100 per month to eligible co-workers enrolled in the Dependent Care FSA, provide paid parental leave for new parents, and offer a 401k plan with employer matching.
