The Scripps New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) Residency Training Program is designed for new graduate nurses to facilitate their transition into clinical practice. This 40-week program provides education, coaching, and mentoring from Clinical Coaches and Preceptor RNs, helping new graduates develop their competence, confidence, critical thinking, and documentation skills. Upon successful completion, participants will be placed in a position within the Scripps system, with training occurring in various units. The program requires availability for both day and night shifts, and no paid time off is allowed during this period.
