Job Summary This Neuroscience ICU is a 22 bed unit with a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio. Looking for nurses with a specific interest &/or passion in Neuro BSN because of Magnet status 2+ years of Critical Care experience required Patient types include: Critical Care management with multi-modality approach Critical Stroke (at least 14 days) Airway support Status Epilepticus Neuro surgical patients: Brain biopsy, debulking and re-sectioning, Clippings, Carotid endarterectomy Traumatic head bleeds (Ventriculosomy): patients w/brain bleeds requiring specialized management Critical spinal fusion patients Neuro Endovascular patients: Embolization, Thrombectomy, Carotid stent, Cerebral Angiograms Bring your commitment to excellence to Memorial Hermann, where your contributions are appreciated & your voice matters.
