The OHSU registered nurse (RN) provides compassionate, evidence-based, and efficient care to individuals, families, communities and patient populations. The RNs care delivery is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics and meets the standards/expectations of the OHSU Nursing Professional Practice Model. In that model, the RN demonstrates the professional role obligations of scientist, leader, practitioner, and knowledge transfer. Professional accountability enriches the RNs engagement as a leader in promoting an inter-professional culture of collaborative decision-making, innovation, life-long learning, and teamwork. The nurse in this position will provide comprehensive care to neurology patients in an ambulatory setting, including Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis as well as provide cross coverage of other neurologic conditions. The Registered Nurse provides complex care coordination, extensive phone triage and focused disease-specific patient education. Department of Neurology Clinical Operations Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm This position schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hrs each day Hybrid position, variable between on site and remote (after completion of probationary period) with on site split between South Waterfront and Hatfield Research Center.
