If you have a passion for advancing nursing excellence, we invite you to join us. In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our Neuro Trauma ICU (6ICU). You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions. This position follows a 4-week schedule, which includes three weeks of 3, 12 hour night shifts and one week of 2, 12 hour night shifts and 2, 6 hour break relief night shifts. This is a full time, 90% FTE position, working 36 hours/week. Salary range: $62.43-$92.81 Hourly

Requirements

  • Current California RN license required
  • BSN or MSN required
  • One year of previous ICU RN experience required
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
  • Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans involving patients, family, and staff.
