About The Position
Join Cleveland Clinic’s Euclid Hospital, a community-based hospital providing top-quality patient care on the beautiful coast of Lake Erie. The 9th floor Med/Surg and Stroke Unit is designated for patients who have recently suffered from a stroke, providing comprehensive stroke care to ensure quick treatment, improved outcomes, and reduced recovery times. As a Primary Stroke Center, certified by The Joint Commission, Euclid Hospital adheres to the highest national stroke care standards for quality and patient safety. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, enhancing their experience and providing healthcare information. This position requires an empathetic, understanding, and nurturing caregiver to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans
- Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs
- Educate patients and their families
