New graduates have the opportunity to participate in our mandatory residency program, which includes monthly seminars led by the Nurse Residency Team, peer-to-peer debriefing sessions, support groups/mentoring, and rounding. This unit is highly specialized neurology Step-Down, dedicated to the special care required for patients who are recovering from neurosurgery, or neurological injuries – to include psych patients. Requirements
- Minimum Associate Degree: Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred
- Registered Nurse-NM License State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
