About The Position

The Acute Care Trauma Level I hospital is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN specializing in Neuro Trauma to provide exceptional patient care to critically ill and injured patients with neurologic injuries. The 6 North unit is a 42 bed multi-specialty area committed to being the innovative leader in Neuroscience, Orthopedic and Trauma services, equipped with advanced monitoring devices and a healing environment.

Requirements

• Current RN License in good standing with state licensing board.
• BSN required OR enrollment and completion of BSN within 5 years.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care to critically ill and injured patients with neurologic injuries.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
