About The Position

The RN Advice Line position at Henry Ford Health is a vital role that provides expert guidance and compassionate care to individuals seeking medical advice. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Possess RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Current BLS or ACLS certification as per Henry Ford Health policy.
• ER or ICU experience preferred.
• Recent experience in performing nursing assessments.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry computer equipment up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to respond to the needs of a 24/7/365 operation.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) if required by state or community standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient symptoms and determine the appropriate level of care.
• Provide professional, evidence-based medical advice to patients over the phone.
