MTM Staffing, brought to you by Southcoast Physician’s Group, is now hiring experienced Registered Nurses for our in-house travel team! 11-13 Week Assignment, with option to extend for 1 additional 13 week assignment if available. $75/hr. Health Insurance and 403B retirement plan eligible.

Requirements

  • Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible for consideration.
  • Former employees must be separated from Southcoast for at least 9 months to be eligible.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
  • Minimum of one year of Emergency Department nursing experience required.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.
  • Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.
  • Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Epic experience is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients.
  • Participate in patient and family teaching.
  • Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
  • Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit.
  • Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
