About The Position

The RN Mother Baby position at Medical City Lewisville involves providing direct nursing care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive and collaborative environment. Requirements

• Current TX RN license or RN Compact State License.
• BLS certification from an approved HCA vendor.
• NRP certification within 3 months of hire.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to mothers and newborns according to established policies and procedures.
• Assess the nursing care needs of patients and plan appropriate interventions.
• Evaluate outcomes of care and adjust plans as necessary.
• Supervise nursing care provided by LVNs and non-licensed staff.
• Perform charge nurse duties, including making patient assignments and directing unit activities.
