About The Position

The RN Mental Health Intake Coordinator provides telephone and data collection
support for admissions to mental health programs and referral information to
in-house and outside resources. Handles and directs calls and website requests
from referral sources and the general public. Updates and maintains database and
generates reports. Works within resource constraints and individual patient
needs within transfer process and coordinates with the hospital system to
prioritize and mobilize patients to secure the best possible behavioral health
service placement.
