About The Position
An opportunity to join Trinity Health Livonia as a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Telemetry unit (4W) is available. This is a full-time position, scheduled for 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, including a weekend rotation and holiday commitment. Trinity Health Livonia is a 304-bed acute care hospital in Livonia, MI, offering comprehensive care including emergency services, general medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, ICU, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics, and birthing/women's health. The 4W unit is a 27-bed telemetry-capable Medical-Surgical floor that provides care for patients with conditions such as hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, UTIs, and COPD. The unit emphasizes a highly functioning team, efficient workflows, and consistent, high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing patient care during their designated shift, which includes coordinating and evaluating care, teaching, and delegating patient activities to other healthcare team members using therapeutic self-use, the nursing process, and the environment.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing required
- Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required
- BLS required
- Must be computer proficient
- excellent customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Previous medical surgical experience preferred
