About The Position

Our Float Pool unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity medical surgical patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Float Pool leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. Float Pool Patient Population: Floats between the medical surgical/telemetry units. Patient Ratios: 5:1. Number of Beds: Depends upon the unit.

Requirements

• A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience.
• A minimum of one year's experience in the field of nursing.
• A valid Registered Nurse license.
• The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Float between medical surgical and telemetry units as needed.
• Maintain patient ratios of 5:1.
• Participate in learning and mentoring opportunities.
