About The Position

Medical Surgical RN is responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Department Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Registered Nurse will work in the Medical/Surgical department at Grand Haven Hospital.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan
• Current BLS
• PALS within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Collect and document comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health and the situation
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized for the patient and the situation
• Collaborate with the person, family significant others and caregivers as appropriate to implement the plan
• Evaluate and document patient’s progress
