Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification and/or IV management skills required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of three years (3) Medical Surgical experience with special interest in Oncology is preferred.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred or become certified
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Care, perform a wide variety of nursing duties involving providing comprehensive oncology education, treatment, and psychosocial support to the oncology patient and their families.
- Actively support assigned committees, tumor boards, or other services the manager may assign.
