Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) is a 26-bed nursing unit that provides treatment to patients suffering from various medical problems, such as sepsis, altered mental status, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), stroke, and post-cardiac arrest hypothermia, as well as monitors patients requiring suicide and overdose monitoring. As an RN on this team, you will deliver exceptional care, throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed. A caregiver in this role works a day/night rotation from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
