About The Position
Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated Medical/Surgical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for a diverse patient population. You’ll collaborate closely with providers and fellow team members during routine care, examinations, and procedures, while promoting patient independence and wellness. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in Nebraska or Iowa (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire).
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (RN or LPN) preferred.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across med/surg and skilled nursing settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and education.
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments safely via various routes.
- Respond to both routine and emergency patient needs.
- Participate in patient admissions, obtain informed consent, and complete timely documentation.
- Support a culture of teamwork by cross-training and floating to other nursing departments as needed.
