Requirements

• Associate Of Nursing
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse: ND, upon hire and American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 - months

Nice To Haves

• Medical-Surgical Unit and/or Long-Term Care RN experience

Responsibilities

• Performs triage by assessing patient’s health and continuously monitor; detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
• Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
• Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs
• Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures
• Provides patient and family education
