Medina Hospital’s 3 South nursing unit is a 32-bed unit that specializes in general medical surgical care for adult and geriatric patients with an emphasis on observation. 3 South delivers care to a variety of other conditions including pneumonia, diabetes, sepsis, GI bleed, cellulitis, COPD exacerbation, various cancers, kidney stones, and bowel obstructions. This unit also cares for, but is not limited to, patients undergoing hysterectomies, thyroidectomies, colon resections and appendectomies. As an RN, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed.
