About The Position

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care across the continuum from admission to discharge. This role collaborates closely with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care that meets regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. The RN administers medications and treatments, monitors patient conditions, responds to emergencies, and supports clinical procedures while maintaining accurate and timely documentation. Effective communication with patients, families, and care team members is essential to promote continuity of care and positive patient outcomes. The RN also provides guidance to support staff, participates in professional development, and upholds infection control and safety protocols. Through critical thinking and collaboration, the Med/Surg RN contributes to a safe, efficient, and compassionate healing environment.

Requirements

  • Current MN Registered Nursing license
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Attentive to multiple task
  • Complete written work orders

  • Calibrating precise instruments
