This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. The role involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes, exhibiting sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions, maintaining involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and department strategic goals, and demonstrating professional responsibility and accountability for practice while supporting the company's philosophy of nursing.
