RN Med Surg - Baylor
About The Position
The RN on the Med/Surg unit is responsible for providing coordinated, high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients, including patient and family education. They collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a safe and comfortable environment, perform thorough assessments to monitor patient status, and demonstrate competence in essential nursing skills. They ensure timely admissions and ongoing evaluations, applying developmental principles to meet each patient’s unique needs. Committed to professional growth, they actively pursue educational opportunities to stay current and improve their practice in alignment with the organization’s standards and mission. Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date! This position is eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus!
Requirements
- 24 hours per week - Third Shift
- 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Saturday and Sunday
- Valid RN license in the State of Indiana
- BLS/CPR Certification Required
- ACLS and PALS Certifications Required Within 6 Months of Hire
