Euclid Hospital’s 8th floor Med/Surg and Telemetry Unit is a 31-bed unit that specializes in advanced telemetry. This unit has an average daily census of 25 and is comprised of 7 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms and a 4-bed observation room for patients who may be confused, at risk for falls or in need of visual monitoring. Known for their exceptional assessment skills and team mentality, caregivers in this unit provide the best patient-centered and relationship-based care to their adult to geriatric patients with ranging medical-surgical diagnoses. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment. A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
