About The Position
RN – Med Surg – Days/Nights Location: Panama City, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Day and Night Shifts Available Salary Range: $27–$39 per hour (based on years of RN experience) Night Shift Differential: $4.00/hour Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights) Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis Job Description Responsibilities: Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to medical-surgical patients Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care plans Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure positive outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory standards Actively participate in quality improvement and unit-based initiatives Qualifications Active RN license (Compact RN license accepted; Florida license must be applied for if not already held) BLS certification required Acute care RN experience within the last 3 years (or within the last 5 years if candidate has several years of total RN experience) ADN required; BSN preferred Strong critical thinking, communication, and customer service skills Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, and moving tasks Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1 or occasionally 7:1 Additional Information Benefits: Tuition Reimbursement and Student Loan Repayment Paid Time Off and Paid Family Leave 401(k) with 100% match (3%–9% based on years of service) Medical, Dental, Vision, and supplemental health insurance Adoption Assistance and Fertility Support Identity Theft Protection Auto, Home, and Life Insurance Employee Stock Purchase Plan (10% discount)
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact RN license accepted; Florida license must be applied for if not already held)
- BLS certification required
- Acute care RN experience within the last 3 years (or within the last 5 years if candidate has several years of total RN experience)
- ADN required
