About The Position

This position provides direct and indirect patient care within a medical-surgical setting, catering to a diverse patient population including adolescents, young adults, middle adults, mature adults, and geriatric groups. The role involves communicating effectively with physicians, nurse managers, house supervisors, and co-workers regarding changes in patient clinical conditions, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. The RN must be capable of responding swiftly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment responses and can perform general nursing duties across various departments under adequate supervision.

Requirements

• Must have Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas.
• Must have current BLS/CPR.
• ACLS / PALS within six months of hire.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
• Graduate of a state approved school of professional nursing practice.
• Maintains current licensure in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting.
