About The Position

RN – Med/Surg - RN26-00151 Job Title: RN – Med/Surg Location: Brooklyn, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM (Night Shift) Pay Rate: $55 – $60 per hour Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required Monitor patients before, during, and after conscious sedation Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience 2 years of conscious sedation experience Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program Certifications & Licensure: Active New York State RN License License verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED) AHA BLS AHA ACLS (if required by facility/unit) For more details contact at [email protected] About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
  • 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
  • 2 years of conscious sedation experience
  • Active New York State RN License
  • License verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS (if required by facility/unit)
