Medina's 2 South offers medical, surgical and telemetry care to patients, including thoracentesis, paracentesis and peritoneal dialysis treatment. As an RN in this unit, you will assist fellow caregivers in creating a welcoming, healing and safe environment. You will focus on enhancing care, helping facilitate a transformative experience for patients of all ages, medical histories and demographics. This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working shifts varying between 7:00 p.m. -- 7:30 a.m. or 7:00 a.m. -- 7:30 p.m.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • External applicant: Two years of recent related nursing experience
  • Internal applicant: Less than two years of experience, but post-orientation/90-day probationary period considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
  • Military RN experience considered

Responsibilities
