About The Position

Performs the primary duties of a professional nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in Acute Care. The role involves maintaining safety standards for personnel and equipment, and promoting team efforts with physicians and personnel of other departments.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
  • Demonstrates ability in nursing practice
  • Requires effective oral and written communication skills
  • Current RN licensure by the State of Texas
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 6 months required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • One year’s hospital experience preferred
  • Basic EKG Interpretation Course and IV Therapy course preferred
