The caregivers at Martin North Hospital have made it an excellent medical facility and a home away from home. Martin North’s 2nd Floor consists of an 18-bed Medical/Surgical & Telemetry Unit as well as a 22-bed Clinical Decision Unit. These units provide care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses who may require telemetry monitoring. As an RN on this team, you will be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
