We are searching for an RN for MED/SURG-Palliative Care UP TO $9,600 NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS! Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA Hours: 32hrs, with Benefits Shift: EVE , 3:00pm - 11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation Looking for: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required. Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Atwood 5 is a 43 bed Medical/Surgical nursing unit. The patient population consists of adults and geriatrics with muti-system problems and diagnoses with some patients requiring surgical intervention. Atwood 5 specializes in the care of the Oncology and Palliative Care patients. Responsibilities Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
